Compare dual-side entry, panel overlap, handle choices and soft-close options before choosing a double slider.
A double-sliding shower door lets both panels move so you can approach the shower from either side. MCOCOD examples include DS13 and DS01. This flexibility can help when controls or bathroom fixtures favor different entry points. Check the actual walk-through opening in the model drawing: the total enclosure width is not the width available with panels overlapping.
The DS13 is a soft-closing double slider with two towel bars. The DS01 is another double-sliding towel-bar design. Decide whether damped closing is part of your specification, then compare the exact glass and hardware configurations. Similar panel layouts do not mean every series has the same closing mechanism.
The collection contains towel-bar and finger-pull variants, including DS13H and DS01H. Handles change how the panels are gripped and how visible the hardware appears. Record top, middle and bottom widths, finished height and threshold depth after wall finishes are complete. Both moving panels need the support, guides and alignment specified for the model. Do not select glass or a replacement rail only by the opening width. A series-matched guide rail must also work with its rollers and brackets.
A double slider for a shower base and a bathtub version can use related model names but different heights or installation details. Start with bathtub doors for a tub. For large openings or additional fixed panels, compare custom sliding layouts and have the panel arrangement reviewed before ordering.
