Compare DS13, large-opening sliding and hinged-enclosure hardware packages for your glass configuration.
A hardware kit is organized around a specific mechanism and glass arrangement. This collection includes DS13 double-sliding kits, large-opening DS13-2 and SS08-3 packages, plus H06 enclosure hardware. Select the model family and panel layout before choosing a finish. Do not assume a kit includes the glass or the shower base simply because a complete enclosure appears in the product image.
The DS13 hardware kit is listed for 3/8-inch glass and widths of 48–76 inches. The DS13-2 kit lists a 72–84-inch width range. These are kit specifications; the glass layout, panel overlap and fabrication dimensions still need to match the correct drawing.
The SS08-3 large-opening kit uses a single-sliding arrangement and lists two rollers, two soft-close components, one handle and glass fasteners. The DS13 packages list four rollers and two towel bars. This difference affects the glass and fixed-panel arrangement. Replacing one package with the other requires a new system design, not just a rail of the same length.
The DS13 kit lists a guide rail, rollers, anti-jump fittings, wall brackets, soft-close components, guide block, towel bars, seals and an anti-splash threshold. Large-opening packages can add glass brackets. Check the complete list against the job before ordering, particularly if you already have glass or plan to reuse part of an existing door.
Coordinate glass thickness, holes, cutouts, support and the finished opening before fabrication. A kit length does not establish the finished glass sizes. For a small repair, compare replacement guide rails and seals rather than replacing every fitting; for a new assembled product, start with complete shower doors.
