Match glass thickness, seal profile, length and door series before replacing a sweep or side seal.
Start by identifying the seal position: the bottom edge, a wall-side edge or the overlap between sliding panels. This collection includes bottom and side seal sets, DS01/DS13-style sliding seals and anti-splash thresholds. Those pieces have different profiles and functions. Compare the existing assembly and water path instead of ordering a strip based only on its overall length.
MCOCOD lists separate 3/8-inch glass seal strips and 1/2-inch glass seal strips. Both offer a 36-inch bottom-seal option, with sets containing longer side seals. Match the actual glass thickness and profile; the same length does not mean the seal grips a different glass thickness correctly.
The 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch sets describe a bottom seal with H-shaped and angled side seals. The DS01/DS13-style sliding seals separately distinguish middle and side profiles and list 76, 80 and 84-inch length selections. Check the part location and package contents before treating a set as equivalent to an individual replacement.
The bottom-seal products describe clear polycarbonate and adhesive-free fitting; the DS01/DS13-style sliding seals describe PVC. Use the installation guidance for the chosen profile and inspect the existing glass edge before fitting. If water comes from poor alignment or an unsuitable threshold, replacing a seal alone may not address the underlying installation issue.
Record the door series, glass thickness, current seal dimensions and a photo of the end profile. Confirm compatibility before trimming or installing a replacement.
