Compare single and double sliders, closing mechanisms and framing styles for your finished shower opening.
A single slider pairs a moving panel with fixed glass; a double slider lets both panels move. MCOCOD lists SS04 and SS08 single-sliding designs and DS01 and DS13 double-sliding designs in this collection. Choose how you want to reach the controls and enter the shower, then check the usable opening with panels overlapped in the model drawing.
The DS13 and SS08 are soft-closing examples with different panel layouts. The SS14 combines soft closing with a round guide rail. Check the mechanism on the exact model instead of assuming every slider has dampers, and follow its fitting instructions for smooth panel travel.
The collection includes frameless designs, DS10 semi-frameless sliders and DS06S framed double sliders. SS04 has a round rail, while SS05 is described with a square rail. Compare the complete appearance and mounting arrangement together. Rails, rollers and brackets belong to their specified systems; matching a metal finish alone does not make parts interchangeable.
Record finished width at several heights, opening height, wall alignment and threshold depth. Compare the installed system and usable entry, not just the nominal product width. For a single slider, confirm the orientation; for a double slider, check handles on both panels. The opening needs to suit the full assembly, including guides and water-control components.
A bathtub ledge calls for a tub-specific sliding door and the appropriate height. For additional fixed panels or an unusual opening, compare custom sliding shower doors. These categories help narrow the actual installation before choosing glass appearance, handles or hardware finish.
